The Role Reporting to the Manager, Governance and Assurance, you will provide expert, well informed advice on matters across all aspects of governance, within the scope and responsibility of the team.

You will contribute to the development of governance frameworks for implementation and continued monitoring of delivery of capital projects across Queensland Health.

The role will involve preparing complex reports, briefings and other communication on a wide range of governance, risk, finance and budget matters relating to the capital program and infrastructure projects.

Working collaboratively with stakeholders within the Health Capital Division Project Management Office (PMO) you will ensure accurate reporting on governance and risk activities are analysed to provide accurate reporting on the delivery of Capital projects and programs.

Finally, you will be required to identify and evaluate continuous improvement compliance activities, policies and systems to support the implementation of good practice governance and risk management across the project.

The successful personTo be successful for this role you will have demonstrated experience in Governance and Risk Management with the ability to provide timely and accurate reporting for capital projects.

You will possess strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skill to build a high functioning team that embraces new ideas and innovation for future practice.

It is important you have strong stakeholder management skills to build and nurture productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through the use of oral and written communication skills.

It is imperative you have a strategic and analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills to solve complex issues.

Finally, you will be able to operate autonomously as well as part of a team to ensure overall objectives are met.
