About the Role


The Case Review Officer is responsible for undertaking investigations and assessments for requests for internal review in relation to public transport offences.

This will include reviewing matters on a case by case basis and forming consistent and evidence-based decisions in accordance with governing legislation, policies and guidelines.

Position Outcomes / Accountabilities

  • Undertake investigations, assessments and make decisions on requests for internal reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the branch to ensure that all processes in administering reviews comply with legislation and regulations.
  • Prepare all correspondence on reviews against the public transport offence.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships across the branch and department and Key Stakeholders
  • Strive for regulatory excellence through integrity, empathetic engagement.
  • Proactively contribute to continuous process improvement in systems and procedures
  • Contribute to other branch initiatives, deliverables, projects and other tasks as required
