ABOUT THE ROLE:


  • Are you an energetic, innovative carer looking for the next exciting step in your career that enables you to be part of an exciting team responsible for delivering a new model of aged care at our home in Montrose?
  • We have part time and casual positions available.
  • The Care Companion is responsible for all primary care needs of our residents including ADL care, provision of meals, cleaning and laundry. This role will contribute to a successful and sustainable care culture. Mercy Place Montrose offers small household living a small number of residents living together in each of our eight room apartments.
  • Permanent Part Time and casual
  • Mercy Place Montrose, Residential Aged Care
  • Providing care and support to our residents
  • Promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents by providing care using a personcentred approach
  • Partnering with residents and their families
  • Undertake care and documentation to the highest standard
  • Pay rates range from $ $ pay rates will be dependent on experience post qualification)

ABOUT YOU:


  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (students seeking placement welcome)
  • Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable
  • Welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Previous experience in cooking or in a hospitality environment
