The opportunity:


As the Inventory Controller
, you'll report to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and District Inventory Controller to ensure that all products and marketing/animation collateral are properly stored, and that accurate and appropriate levels of inventory are maintained in order to meet customer demand.


You'll also play a key role in:

  • Driving cycle counts within the store ensuring schedules are followed and completed to help avoid out of stocks.
  • To utilise and exploit data to support with operational decisions to reduce shortage/loss and prepare and complete reports as needed on stock control.
  • Consistently monitor and investigate negative stock levels and follow up with the team as necessary.
  • Implement a continuous improvement mentality and work in partnership with the Senior Management team and Supply Chain to ensure that business and operational results are achieved
  • Serving as the point of contact for stock levels to disseminate and/or action items as necessary within a fastpaced environment and confidently make store decisions.
  • Training and educating the wider team on shrinkage and BOH policies and procedures.

Managing Day-to
  • Day Store Operations.
Drive operational initiatives including product launches, marketing updates, and supporting visual merchandising changes to ensure the store represents the Sephora brand and culture.

Developing Sales and Budget Strategies. Assist in managing the profit and loss for your store including monitoring stock levels to maximise sales and profitably and identify, analyse, and forecast sales or issues.

Enhancing Our Culture. Maintain a strong and positive culture where everyone is valued, recognized, and enabled to succeed through feedback and career development, coaching, learning, and recognition.

Maintaining Results. **We love to keep an eye on the KPIs that drive our business. Core metrics help us measure performance, improve, and achieve our vision of being the most loved beauty community. You'll also monitor KPIs and help develop store talent.


We would love to hear from you if:

  • You're passionate about excellent client service and experiential retail
  • You have previous retail stock management experience at a big box retailer including previous SAP experience
  • You have excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills
  • You have a suitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weigh up to 15kg
  • You have strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, can work independently but also have the ability to influence team members at all levels
  • You enjoy a flexible work schedule and are able to work weekends, before/after store hours, and evenings
  • Have a drive for results with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPI's
  • Are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite
