THE COMPANY:

Our client is a manufacturing food tech company which is leading global technology solutions.
They design, manufacture, test and service technologically, sophisticated systems and products.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for monitoring and control the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse.

You will also be required to use the forklift to assist in loading and unloading of trucks and moving goods around the warehouse.

Hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday with possibility of overtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure accurate and timely ordering, receipting and maintaining of inventory in the warehouse.
Contribute to the maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse.
Accurate and timely picking and packing of freight.
Ensure safe receiving and unloading of deliveries into the warehouse.
Safe operation of forklift.
Ensure quotes are prepared and delivered to customers in a timely fashion.
Liaise with parts suppliers to ensure that all parts are received/shipped on time.
Assist with annual inventory and ensuring processes are in line with company procedures.
Ensure timely and accurate material replenishment.
Other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment both in the warehouse and on customer sites.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this position, you will have:

2 years previous experience in a similar role.
Current forklift license.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Good teamwork spirit and interpersonal skills.
Eager to become more involved with the Customer Care/service side of the business.
Experience using Pronto is advantageous.
Great IT and computer skills.
