Reporting to the Manager, Registry and Case Support, the Case Management Officer is a member of the Registry and Case Support team.

The Case Management Officer is a central administrative and operational support for the effective performance of the office.

The Case Management Officer undertakes the receipt, handling, administration and dispatch of Freedom of Information (FOI) reviews and complaints, receipt and handling of privacy and data protection enquiries, and any other relevant matters arising from the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act) and the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (the PDP Act), in an efficient and timely manner.

The role may also involve providing information and advice to members of the public, stakeholders and agencies about FOI and privacy procedures and the functions of the Information Commissioner.

A knowledge of the FOI Act and the PDP Act is preferred, but is not mandatory.
