Permanent Full-Time

Annual Salary $105,670

(Pro-Rata for Part-time)

About the Role


The Y WA is recruiting for a
Youth Services Manager located in Belmont or Leederville and working across our Western Australian youth services.

In this role you will lead and manage passionate teams to deliver programs and services in line with the Y WA's Approach to Youth Work.

Your strong operational skillset, collaborative leadership style and passion for youth development will be well utilised to inspire your teams across multiple locations to deliver meaningful youth programs and services to the Western Australian community.

This is a particularly exciting time to join this team as we embark on the development of our new Youth Strategy.


Duties

  • Provide inspirational leadership to the staff across the Community and Youth portfolio
  • Manage the development and implementation of a suite of services and programs which reflect the Y WA's Approach to Youth Work
  • Actively seek and identify new opportunities for service and program development and improvement
  • Develop services that are safe, fun, and welcoming to all young people
  • Operational management including budget management, contract administration, funding submissions, program evaluation and reporting.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated passion for working with young people
  • Demonstrated leadership capability
  • Extensive prograM/Facility management experience
  • Experience in strategic and operational planning
  • Experience in managing budgets and other operational management
  • Ability to identify and form partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field essential
  • Welldeveloped business writing and computer skills
  • National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Current unrestricted driver licence
