Ongoing, Full Time Position hours per week plus ADO)

support the employment and workforce needs of the Royal Women's Hospital. People, Culture and

Your contribution
Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Providing exceptional administrative support and case management to ensure that all new employees transition to the Women's is streamlined and an exceptional experience
  • Processing adverts, administering contracts and ensuring onboarding requirements are completed
  • Setting up new employees in the HRIS system (Chris21)
  • Assisting managers with variations to current employee contracts and ceasing employment requests
  • Assisting with the preparation and completion of workforce and audit reports

About you
To be successful within this role you will need to have:

  • Your well-developed interpersonal skills, including customer service and stakeholder relationship management
  • An understanding of recruitment processes, compliance requirements and a basic understanding of industrial agreements/awards and contracts
  • Your qualification in Human Resources or related field
  • Your experience working in a role with a high volume of enquiries, multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement


Please be aware that in line with the Health Minister's Covid-19 Mandatory Vaccination Order, all workers at the Women's regardless of role, will be required to be fully vaccinated (3 doses) for COVID-19 or hold an acceptable medical exemption.


Influenza Vaccination Requirement


In line with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, some health care workers are now required to have their flu vaccination to work in health care.

Evidence of vaccination is required.


As this role fits into category C of the departments risk ratings, applicants are strongly encouraged (although not required) to be vaccinated against influenza.)



All applicants will be required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status.
