KU Gwynneville Preschool has a focus on our transition program to preschool and formal schooling, community engagement and relationships, and sustainability. This is incorporated into the program through activities such as family picnics, school visits, visits from the retirement trust, visits from community organisations and energy conservation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed educator to join the team and work 4.17 hours per day, Monday-Wednesday to provide pivotal break and programming cover.

You would also have access to additional shifts/support hours or days through our KUCas team if interested.

Understanding the importance of family relationships and engaging the wider community in the early childhood learning program is highly desirable as well as experience in the implementation of sustainable practices and environmental awareness issues.

Of course, you will need:

Australian working rights
A current NSW Working with Children Check
An ACECQA recognised Certificate III
Completed training in Child Protection
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
