The role

Electrical & Mechanical Apprenticeship for 2024 with Adbri Cement is now open Learn from the best for a long term career in an Electrical Trade.

Our Apprenticeship Program will have you
start in October 2023 to give you the training and support you need to before
commencing TAFE in 2024.

You will have a dedicated mentor to support you throughout your training and employment.

The Electrical Apprentices will support the maintenance and improvement of reliability/efficiency of equipment by optimising planned maintenance schedules and identifying equipment performance issues

This is a great chance to
work full-time and study at TAFE / Trade School to receive your trade qualification in
Electrotechnology Certificate III.

Based in Birkenhead, SA

Responsibilities

Assist with the completion of maintenance scheduled tasks and repairs to ensure a high level of plant availability
Assist Tradesperson to enable them to review and offer improvement suggestions
Manual Handling Training
Group SH&E standards, procedures and policies
Area housekeeping, isolation, PPE and safety requirements
Performance of routine inspections, corrective maintenance and plant improvement

What you will need to succeed

Minimum of Year 11 completion of Secondary Education
Ensure a 100% commitment to improving Health and Safety within the operation
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Selfmotivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong learning ability
