With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for providing general assistance in the full range of domestic duties to ensure our residents are able to "Live Life to the Full" in our home-like environment.

This is a casual position working approximately 60 hours per fortnight across a variety of laundry and cleaning duties.

  • Assist with full range of domestic duties
  • Clean picture frames, wall ornaments and sanitize all towel dispensers, light and airconditioning switches
  • Be responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen, including all appliances, storage areas, work benches and floors
  • Prepare clothing, garments and linen for washing and drying and perform those duties using safe handling of laundry chemicals
  • Make beds, change linen, turn mattress where necessary
  • Assist in mealtimes and social activities
  • Previous experience in a similar role within aged care/hospitals is desirable
  • Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage and prioritise work tasks in a timely manner
  • Genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
  • Provide evidence of COVID19 and Flu vaccinations
