About us:

We are calling for a passionate Kitchen Hand ready for the next challenge in their career to join our kitchen brigade.

Located in the stunning historic former Acton House, Parlour restaurant is open 6 days a week for lunch and dinner with a focus on Mediterranean inspired cuisine.

Working within a dynamic kitchen team, you will be exposed to different experiences as Parlour hosts a large number of weddings & exciting functions each year, in addition to our regular dining service.

Our goal is to become the lighthouse of the New Acton precinct and create more of an institution for our team than just a regular employment.

We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience to each of our guests and have built a team of professionals that is recognised for their skills and experience.

The role:

Handling and storage of deliveries
Assist with inventory monitoring and stock control
Preparation of food ingredients for chefs
Storing ingredients according to food safety regulations
Cleaning all dishes, work stations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
Following of all cleaning and sanitisation policies
Assist with cleaning of the kitchen to a high standard
Disposal of kitchen waste
Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends

To really succeed in this role, you will have:
