- To lead the team in achieving the outcomes and objectives identified in the Civil Buildings business strategy.
- To lead the overall performance of the team in terms of people, technical leadership, business development, project and operational management.
- To promote cooperation and cross-selling across all APAC business units through the general sharing of information, support, resourcing for projects in the interests of the overall good of the company.
- Oversee all people management activity in their team; manage the people to deliver against agreed goals, strategies and KPIs.
- Oversee implementation of company systems and policies that ensure standards for all work are maintained for technical performance and avoidance of professional liability
- Work with Project Managers and Project Directors to balance project outputs with budget constraints to avoid project overruns (time, or cost).
- Work with Project Managers and Project Directors to implement project improvement plans when needed.
- Work with PMs/ PDs to ensure adequate project/ proposal resourcing
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated experience within a civil infrastructure environment
- Demonstrated experience and relationships within stakeholders
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Excellent technical report writing skills
- Outstanding communication skills to liaise with the team, senior management and external partners to produce commercial, client focused outcomes
