HR Business Partner - 13 Month Parental Leave cover

  • Parental leave contract
  • This role could be full time or part time
  • Based at Kent Street, in Sydney CBD, with flexibility to work from home

What you can expect to get involved in:

  • Collaborate with senior business leaders, the ANZ HR Director and broader global HR Team to establish HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
  • Support the identification and growth of emerging Talent such as Partners in Training, and high potential employees by partnering with the Learning & Development Manager and business leaders.
  • Provide input on workforce planning and staffing needs, including development of new job profiles, assisting with recruitment processes and documentation, partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to define hiring priorities and develop offer terms.
  • Facilitate and provide training to managers and employees as required (for example, inductions and performance management training).
  • Provide HR advice, coaching and support to people managers and employees.
  • Work with the wider APAC HR team to develop and maintain diversity and inclusion programs.
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of employment law and legal requirements to mitigate employee relations issues and risk. Provide HR policy interpretation and guidance.
  • Promote a Health & Safety culture by partnering with H&S staff to ensure effective onboarding, ongoing compliance and open forums to address H&S concerns.
  • Drive personal development to maintain and improve knowledge and skills needed to perform at a high level.
  • Manage or participate in regional and local HR projects.

Some experience you'll bring:

  • Bachelors' degree in Human Resources or Business related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years' handson Human Resources experience.
  • Passionate about their work within HR and (preferably) the environmental/ sustainability space as a whole. Willingness to roll up the sleeves.
  • Self
- motivated individual.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to work both in a team and independently to deliver results.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement track record with appreciable results.
  • A positive and proactive mindset with which the incumbent can bring people together to work more effectively as a whole in a dynamic organisation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and any HRIS (familiarity with Workday in particular would be advantageous).
