WFH full time / only travel to Tatura for induction (2 days) 2h from Melb- 2 month contract role / potential to permanency

The organisation
The Next Step have partnered with a leading rural water provider, who are on a steady growth journey and are looking for their next addition to the P&C function
The role
This role has recently become available due to leave requirements and internal promotions. You will;
- Support the recruitment process, including CV + telephone screening, coordination of panel interviews, ad writing and managing preemployment checks;
- Collaborate with P&C to contribute to the formulation of forwardthinking recruitment strategies, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of progressive recruitment practices;
- Work closely with the P&C team to support daytoday administration and the employee lifecycle;
- Recruit for the Water Operations team, alongside white collar roles such as finance, procurement and customer service;
This requires travel to the Tatura office (2 hours drive from Melbourne) for 1 day induction and 1 day offboarding, with the remaining time in a WFH/remote capacity.
This contract role is estimated 2 months in length, with scope to permanency.The remuneration range is between $45 - $50 per hour, including superannuation
About you
- Experience in an HR generalist or recruitment capacity
- Excellent relationship builder
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of MS Office skills, including Excel and Word.
- Experience using Chris21 is advantageous
