About the role:

Reporting to the IROC+ Fleet Management Superintendent we are seeking a highly motivated Positive 2 Way Radio Communications Auditor to join our IROC+ Execution team in Brisbane.

This role is critical to ensuring safety of our mines through the auditing of 2-way radio communication between operations and our remote operational centre.

Key Responsibilities will include:

An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.Â
Actively listen to 2-way radio communications and score communications accordingly
Engage with the mine controllers and supervisors to create a collaborative environment where we improve safety at our mining operations and remote operation centre
Utilise your MS office skills to complete a weekly positive communications audit report and continue to improve the process.

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience on a 2-way radio as a mining operator, mine controller or similar role will be highly regarded
Manual C Class Drivers licence
