Brand New Cafe in a Brand New Residential Aged Care Home

Sanctuary Recruitment
is working with an upscale residential aged care facility located in the heart of Greenwich, NSW, easily accessible by bus, to find a Barista/Cafe All rounder.

This brand-new, state-of-the-art building boasts three floors of elegant living spaces, including a breathtaking rooftop area.

Their commitment is to provide the highest quality care and service to the residents and their families, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of highquality beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, in a timely manner.
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle payments efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment, serving areas, and dining spaces.
Assist with food preparation, including assembling light snacks and pastries.
Engage with residents and their families in a friendly and respectful manner, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the cafe and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a cafe or hospitality setting.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and serve highquality beverages, including espressobased drinks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Benefits:
