Machine Operator / Food Factory
AWX is a National Labour hire company that specialises in Labour Hire for our cliental. The position we currently have is for a large food manufacturing company in Palmwoods. Our client specialises in the manufacturing and production of Herbs and Spices (from the farms) to the finalised product.

  • With 4x Production rooms we have plenty of opportunities available. We have Processing facilities and packing facilities onsite which require competent Machine Operators.

Working Hours:

  • 5 days / 89hrs


  • Monday

  • Friday (6am230pm and 230pm11pm)
  • OT + Saturday work available occasionally.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:


  • Ensure plant and machinery is operated to stated procedures and standards.
  • Ensure safe work practices are maintained.
  • Adherence to procedures and company policies.
  • Be able to assist in other area where necessary.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Lifting and moving product (Mechanical Aid Provided also)
  • Responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to work as part of a close team and communicate effectively and with Respect. Communications may be with, but not limited to. Line QC, Walker Stacker, Team Leader/Supervisor.

What you'll need to succeed:


  • A standard level of physical capability is required.
  • Industrial experience preferred, Training will be provided.
  • Capable of standing on your feet all day.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and have good organization skills to meet deadlines.
  • Have the ability to learn new skills and on train to assist with team development.
  • Must be hard working and have a proactive can do approach.
  • A current valid driver's licence.
