About Us:

Our Support Services team provides a range of essential non-clinical services that help our hospitals run.

We provide food services, central production kitchen, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.


The General Services Department at Casey requires a qualified Patient Services Assistant to work as part of our dynamic and passionate team working in our Imaging Department.

Shifts Available

Patient Services Assistant (Imaging Department)

Friday's - 13:00 - 21:00 - Part Time (Ongoing)

15 hours per fortnight)


About the Role:


  • Ward and department cleaning
  • Bed making
  • Use of lifting equipment, bed mover and wheelchairs
  • Assisting nursing staff as requested
  • Transfer and cleaning of ward equipment

About You:

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Certificate III Health Services Assistant (Essential)
  • Previous experience as a Patient Services Assistant _(Desirable)_
  • Excellent understanding of patient identification procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Takes pride in your work with great attention to detail
  • Has great time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
  • Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
  • Excellent understanding of cleaning methodologies and infection control procedures
  • A strong commitment to working effectively as part of a team
