About the role
You will be leading a team and driving the development and delivery of culture and people experience strategies, resources, programs, and practices to improve the employee experience


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the design and implementation of organisational development initiatives
You will play a key role overseeing the following projects we currently have in the pipeline:

  • Employee recognition and awards program, with a focus on recognising the accomplishments and contributions of staff across the Department
  • Embedding our culture programs, which includes an exciting new psychological safety initiative, which has a focus on creating a workplace where employees feel comfortable speaking up

About you

  • Are you an experienced organisational development leader looking to make a direct cultural impact for a large organisation?
  • Do you have a passion for improving the moments that matter for people during the employee journey?
  • Are you an excellent communicator? Are you able to prepare comprehensive briefs and deliver presentations to bring stakeholders on the journey? Are you able to influence and negotiate stakeholders to encourage awareness and change?
  • Do you have a cando attitude and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment?

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Change or a relevant discipline

Key knowledge and experience

  • Previous experience in the management and delivery of organisational culture and engagement strategies, programs and initiatives in a complex, diverse organisation.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
