About the role


The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the education process.

The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes and contribute towards education of future finance specialists.


About You


You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience and skillset with students and are knowledgeable on current and upcoming trends and industry requirements.

You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment.


To be successful in the role you will:

  • Hold Diploma (or above) in Finance (Financial Services or Mortgage Broking) or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of three years postqualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Hold TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
