Early Start Australia is one of the country's largest private providers of evidence based, intervention and therapy services for children and families.


We are looking for a talented leader to join our Vic team on an initial 12 month contract to manage a multidisciplinary team based at our South Morang Clinic.

About the role:


In this critical role, you will take full accountability to build a multidisciplinary, high functioning, collaborative team who deliver fun, engaging and meaningful therapy to children and their families.

Backed by a highly supportive ESA Corporate team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the business:


Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice - able to step in, triage and manage the changing requirements on any given day eg rescheduling clients; responding to feedback and complaints; conducting team meetings; managing the budget etc.

Financial acumen with the ability to analyse financial reports and implement solutions to drive strong performance
Drive practice performance to meet and exceed business requirements and KPIs, such as client satisfaction; staff satisfaction; billable hours
Understand, establish and build a strong client base and network of referrers
Lead a team of (up to 10) therapists, allied health assistants and administration support
Maintain a level of your own therapy case load
Support and implement the agreed ESA organisational and practice strategies and operating standards
Contribute to the development of organisational strategy and best practice


About you:

As an experienced manager of allied health teams, you will use your infectious enthusiasm and love for what you do to support, mentor and develop a team of multidisciplinary therapists and recent graduates
Able to work autonomously and make decisions, you will be a skilled leader with strength and resilience to manage the complexity of multiple, and often competing tasks and priorities, along with exceptional communication skills to guide your team through change and growth
Ideally you have worked in a commercial environment - familiar and comfortable with building a client base and working to KPIs
Experience in working with children and/or people with disability.
You will have the appropriate professional registrations, Working with children check, National Police check, First Aid, Driver's Licence & NDIS Worker Screening Check
