An exciting opportunity exists to join the dynamic administrative team with the North Shore Ryde Mental Health Community Team at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) in the flexible role of Casual Administration Officer.

MHDA Declaration

Each person's unique journey of recovery will be supported by mental health drug and alcohol services in a way that fosters hope, purpose and resilience.


MHDA Statement of Intention

The intention of the NSLHD MHDA is to provide recovery-oriented, trauma informed services that are guided by evidence based practices and collaboration.


To assist and participate in the delivery of an efficient, effective and comprehensive community-based service in the Northern Sydney Local Health District.

This is achieved by managing a busy switchboard, answering general inquiries, referring intake matters appropriately, greeting consumers and other visitors, managing appointments and medical records, fulfilling general office duties, and undertaking other appropriately delegated tasks.


_ People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply._

  • High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail with particular focus on integrity and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, word processing (40 words/minute), and experience or willingness to learn new information systems including: eMR, WINc, Healthroster.
