Occupational Therapy Research and Translation Lead

Unique position, supporting research and translating research for Occupational Therapists:


  • Drive skill acquisition and interprofessional research across OT and allied health:
-
Part Time role working 40 hours per fortnight, Fixed Term until December 2023

Your new role:


  • Exciting position aimed to improve the delivery of occupational therapy services through translating outcomes into mental health clinical practice.
  • The position offers a professional pathway for career progression in mental health research and is directly responsible for the translation of research into practice.
  • Key objectives of this role include:
  • Strengthen occupational therapy research leadership
  • Develop priorities for innovation and research
  • Develop and maximize use of research governance and infrastructure
  • Build research capability

About you:


  • You are an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist.
  • You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
  • You have advanced knowledge of research and evidencebased practice in professionspecific and related clinical areas.
  • You have strong research skills in the conceptualisation, design and analysis of research projects in routine healthcare data.
