Occupational Therapy Research and Translation Lead

Unique position, supporting research and translating research for Occupational Therapists:
Drive skill acquisition and interprofessional research across OT and allied health:
Part Time role working 40 hours per fortnight, Fixed Term until December 2023
Your new role:
- Exciting position aimed to improve the delivery of occupational therapy services through translating outcomes into mental health clinical practice.
- The position offers a professional pathway for career progression in mental health research and is directly responsible for the translation of research into practice.
- Key objectives of this role include:
- Strengthen occupational therapy research leadership
- Develop priorities for innovation and research
- Develop and maximize use of research governance and infrastructure
- Build research capability
About you:
- You are an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist.
- You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
- You have advanced knowledge of research and evidencebased practice in professionspecific and related clinical areas.
- You have strong research skills in the conceptualisation, design and analysis of research projects in routine healthcare data.
