What You Will Do


Reporting to the HR Director, North America (NAM) and APAC, the Australia HR Business Partner (HRBP) will provide hands on and strategic HR support in all aspects of HR including employee relations, talent and performance management, employee engagement, organizational development, conflict resolution, change management, and talent acquisition.

You will play a critical role in executing our people initiatives and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement across Australia.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the business; proactively anticipate business needs and recommend new approaches and creative solutions.
  • Partner with leaders on recruiting needs, performance management, engagement, retention, workforce planning, and learning and development.
  • In collaboration with the HR Director, NAM & APAC, the HRBP team, and business leaders, develop and support change management activities and ensure organizational design and effectiveness are aligned to business strategy, culture, and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the talent acquisition team on recruitment efforts for Australia
  • Leverage data and metrics to provide deep analytical insight to drive informed decision making, offer proactive solutions, and clear strategic outcomes to support our business partners.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively; uphold convictions on what is right for our employees, balanced with a lens of what is right for the organization.
  • A strong solution focus and comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Coach and support employees and managers on employee relations matters including employee concerns, performance, performance improvement plans (PIP), training and development, advancement, retention, and recognition.
  • Work collaboratively with HR centers of excellence (shared service operations, recruiting, and talent development) to optimize the effectiveness of the organization.
  • Document and execute internal HR processes from onboarding new hires, to processing role changes and finalizing termination details, all with an eye of improving processes to be better, scalable, and more efficient.
  • Be a change champion and effectively guide business leaders and employees through organizational change and transformational initiatives.
  • Roll up your sleeves to perform core HR functions, including resolving requests and inquiries in such areas as: employment practices, employment laws, performance and conflict resolution, recruiting and hiring.
  • Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data (exit interviews, reporting, employee survey data) to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.

Experience/Knowledge/Competencies You Will Need

  • 5+ years of progressive and strategic HR business partner experience
  • Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across various departments, levels, and situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business priorities and translate them into creative and effective ideas and solutions.
  • Enjoys working with data and is able to articulate data to develop actionable insights and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to connect the dots in complex and often ambiguous situations and derive insights that are critical to advancing organizational goals.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to take initiative and be selfdirected.
  • Possess high energy and positive attitude with the ability to influence, lead, and support organization change.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a high paced, dynamic environment.
