The Business
This renowned ASX listed group is an industry leader in the property market.

Specialising in private equity for real estate developments, this business has been on a significant growth journey in the Australian market.

A superb opportunity is available to join their newly formed Legal Team as a Secretary and contribute to a business in their growth phase.


The Role
Working along side the Legal Team, your duties will include:

  • Provide effective legal and administrative support to the Legal Team.
  • Research and analyse legal issues to support provision of legal advice.
  • Assist with tasks related to legal and regulatory issues and assist in developing proactive legal solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks.
  • Support in drafting legal documents for real property, corporate and commercial and finance transactions.
  • Attending to filings of documents for all Group entities with regulators to comply with statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Ensure all Group subsidiary records are up to date and maintained in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge in relation to the legal practice areas in which the paralegal works.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team by promoting consistency, rigour and knowledge transfer.
  • Organise and coordinate execution of documents;
  • Other ad hoc duties.

About You
To be successful you must possess at least 3 years legal assistant experience, in any area of law. With Excel and Word skills advantageous, you will demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently. In return, you will work for a diverse business, where no two days are the same.

Initially working from the office, you will then have the ability to work from home up to two days a week, and eligible for flexible working hours.
