About the opportunity

Our client is a leading, Australian homewares retailer seeking to expand their buying team due to growth in the business.

Reporting directly into the buyer, we are seeking a strong Assistant Buyer looking for ongoing career progression amongst an amazing company culture.

The role has exposure to multiple categories offering exciting and innovative opportunities.

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:

Strong administrative skills and process management, and be someone who shows initiative and self-motivation.
Passionate about homeware and product.
Passion for the role, and ambition to be a Buyer longerterm.
Confidence, strong communication skills, and be a good team player.
Experience working in a retail buying office either as a Trainee Buyer/Merchandise Assistant ready for a stepup, or an existing Assistant Buyer seeking the opportunity for career growth.
