If the idea of maintaining and establishing meaningful relationships with key industry stakeholders to maximise work integrated learning (WIL) experiences for commerce and law students excites you, this could be the role for you

Working within the Faculty of Business and Law's Student Engagement team, in this new role you will use your

passion for education and supporting young people to find their future pathways, and expert student and stakeholder engagement/management skills to maintain and nurture key relationships with heads of business

to support the strategic need to ensure a pipeline of continuing, high quality student placements, such as internships.


This role will have you out on the road, meeting and connecting with industry, creating internships, placement and other industry-connected learning experiences that provides real-world, on-the-job experiences for our undergrad and postgrad students.

You'll be a confident, self-starter with strong networking, relationship management and development skills; and will always be seeking out opportunities to drive student engagement/interest in WIL and increase employment prospects so they can gain valuable credit-bearing work experience, also thereby helping us to build a sustainable student talent pipeline.


To be successful in the role, you will have previous work experience in or exposure to WIL environments, graduate programs business development and recruitment principles.

You will also have a strong, demonstrable sense of what skills and attributes industry wants and needs for their workforce now and into the future.

Qualifications and or extensive work experience in following areas will also be highly regarded:

  • Career development and/or recruitment experience
  • Commerce/law
  • Business sustainability/development
  • Social impact
