We currently have an exciting entry level opportunity for a Procurement Administrator within our Maritime Australiaprogram based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Your new role:


Reporting to the Senior Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining all systems, and tools for the program whilst providing administrative support to the Maritime Australia platform team.

More specifically, you will

  • Place and mange purchase orders in line with company policy to ensure timely receipt of good and services
  • Manage invoice processing, receipting and generate management reports as required
  • Maintain business systems and security requirements and manage business approved supplier list in accordance with audit requirement
  • Perform data entry, collate/produce reports and coordinate/collate relevant information for business units and undertake data analysis when required
  • Manage PO delegation of authority position hierarchy in line with DOA database
  • Build effective relationship with business stakeholders, support cross functional and business projects as required
About you


As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in administrative or clerical service supporting procurement or supply chain area
  • Strong experience in setting and managing competing priorities with some experience/exposure in procurement/supply chain or related discipline is desirable
  • An ability to show initiate, prioritise and meet deadlines and intermediate knowledge of SharePoint is desirable
  • Proficient user of Ms Office package and basic understanding of ERP platforms/databases
Whilst, not essential, degree qualification in business, procurement or supply chain or studying towards is desirable.

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
