Reporting to the NSW State Manager, your varied role will include:
Managing transportation by ensuring all orders for goods required by customers are processed into our Transport Management System so that freight can be arranged and booked to meet lead times
Liaising with our client and their onsite management: Customer is our No.1 priority
Liaising with dealerships re deliveries and transport issues/delays
Liaison and working with the 3PL warehouse and transport providers (including our own fleet) followup and resolution of issues
Investigate and report on all significant issues impacting business performance such as late and failed deliveries, picking inaccuracies, damages, returns and customer nonconformances
Identification of Continuous Improvement opportunities and working with the NSW State Manager and our internal team to review and implement
Serving as onsite support to 3PL warehouse with regards to packaging of goods and presentation of orders to transport carriers
Be selfmotivated, with an ability to work steadily and systematically and without direct supervision to see tasks through to completion
Have the ability to prioritize issues and be a good listener and questioner
Have an excellent working knowledge of domestic logistics warehousing and transportation and how to create winwin outcomes.
Be totally committed to Continuous Improvement and followthrough
Have excellent client stakeholder, supplier management and communication skills
Be results orientated with a positive attitude and a strong customer service focus.
Have minimum 3 years' experience in warehousing and distribution environments
