In this role you will:


Lead a team of 7 Principal Advisors ensuring a customer centric, consistent and efficient service delivery model, which includes the Executive Contracts team.

The position will continue the building of team capability through coaching, mentoring and performance development in a fast moving and rewarding environment.

The position supports the Director, HR, writing data-informed strategic advice responding to a unique, challenging and dynamic business.

Assess HR capability gaps on wide ranging HR issues and opportunities, with a particular emphasis on initiatives that improve organisational effectiveness across Queensland CorrectiveServices.


  • Develop an understanding of the agencies workforce strategy to inform the HR Business Partner service delivery model and translate that into improved people services that deliver measurable benefits, meeting the needs of the agency.
  • Lead and coordinate the development, implementation and continual review of strategic human resource practices across the agency, writing informative, future focused strategies to improve key agency measures.
  • Monitor the agency's internal and external environment to inform future strategy design and investments and development opportunities.
  • Advise senior management on datainformed workforce patterns and trends, providing supporting data and reports that improve people practice, aligned to the workforce strategy.
  • Monitor and oversee the Executive Contracts team in the response and proactive delivery of executive contracts.
