About Our Client:
Our client leads the Australian government's efforts to protect sport against threats to its integrity - doping, competition manipulation and the mistreatment and abuse of sports participants.
The key responsibilities of the Executive Officer are:
- Providing high level support, including the preparation, and writing of quality briefing material and talking points, reports, presentations, submissions, and other correspondence relating to culture and cultural safety
- Incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' voices, experiences and perspectives in key work and initiatives
- Engaging in research and projects around culture and safety, and undertaking other agency wide tasks, as directed
- Mentoring staff and setting the tone for a strong, inclusive, and diverse culture through the highest levels of integrity
The Successful Applicant:
- Have the ability to coordinate staff
- Assist in developing new policies
- Maintain effective client relationships
- Be an analytical thinker with strong organisational skills.
