Responsibilities
- Working with section waiters and management during service to provide excellent customer service and recommendations on the wine list
- Run the service periods of the venue and create a trainingbased service driven culture
- Train and support the floor team to company goals and standards.
- Write the beverage program from scratch, give it your unique stamp
- Have a dual role of Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Collaborate with the highly experienced kitchen team to create authentic foodwine combinations.
- Manage your wine budget, COGs and markups.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Must have WSET level
- Level 3 will be highly regarded
- Court of Master Sommeliers, Introductory and Certified preferred.
- At least 2 years experience as a Head Sommelier
- Proven experience writing a wine list and working in a fine dining venue
