About the Role

The Quality Assurance (QA) Team is required to provide a comprehensive assurance function as a critical component of the Residential Lending origination process.


The QA Analysts role resides in the First Line Assurance function and is required to verify and validate sound management of key controls, monitoring of quality and adherence to internal policies within BOQ's Risk Framework.


The QA team is responsible for upholding the QA plan, providing a summary of results, identifying emerging trends, and reporting of review results to Senior Management.


As a QA Analyst, you will be working in a small and collaboratively team that supports each other in the delivery of high-quality reviews and analysis.

The QA team provides the assurance function to the Broker, Branch Network and Specialists Business units.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have the below skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Experience in banking/finance, including risk and retail banking.
years' experience in a similar role - advantage.

  • Developing of understanding of compliance and risk management practices, and the 3 Lines of Defence (3LOD) model.
  • An understanding of banking/finance specific regulations and compliance requirements
  • The ability to formulate a compelling position in the Bank's interests, internally and externally, in consultation with internal risk and compliance staff, to ensure compliance is a top priority across the division.
  • Computer literate with superior skills in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with personnel across a wide variety of areas and organisational levels.
  • Welldeveloped analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of discipline and/or broad knowledge of a function/s
