Reports directly to Head of Risk

  • Hybrid role 3 days per week
  • Up to $100k package

Overview:

Reporting directly to the Head of Risk, you will support the Risk function in achieving improvement milestones and enhance Risk Management Frameworks and systems across business operations.

Provide expertise in risk identification, assessment, and monitoring, as well as contribute to the development of training programs and reports.


Responsibilities:


  • Offer risk expertise to identify, assess, and monitor risk and control activities.
  • Collaborate with business units to embed Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related policies and procedures.
  • Ensure regular review and update of risk registers.
  • Facilitate risk assessments for significant business opportunities and changes.
  • Assist in developing and delivering relevant training programs for staff.
  • Provide support to risk owners for defining and managing risks.
  • Contribute to meeting remediation milestones.
  • Comply with internal policies, procedures, and statutory/regulatory requirements.

  • 2+ years of risk management, advisory, or consulting experience.
  • Good understanding of risk management frameworks, concepts, and tools.
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment such as financial services or gambling.
  • Familiarity with risk standards, guidelines, and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficient in report writing and presentations.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Proven teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to adapt to changing business needs.
