About the role

Our Perth Processing Centre is currently seeking three Processing Technicians (Grade 2) to oversee and perform core processing activities aid in the efficient, sufficient and timely production and distribution of safe blood and blood products, while maintaining a commitment to all quality, safety and requlatory requirements.

A day as a Processing Technician could see you

Unpack shippers and log data into Lifeblood systems

Process and separate blood components

Separate and store red cells

Freeze and store plasma components

Load and unload the rapid plasma freezer

Participate in standard equipment set up, maintenance and cleaning with training, supervision and support

Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend and twist to operate different platforms.

Experience working to standard operating procedures in a regulated production environment.

Highly developed interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style.

Strong customer focus with the ability to identify improvement initiatives.

A trusted, responsive, and reliable team player who supports the achievement of shared goals.

Ability to participate in a flexible roster working varied across Monday to Sunday.

These roles are based on Wellington Street, at our Perth Processing Centre, and will involve varied shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.
