RSL LifeCare is looking for AN-ACC Coordinator to cover 3 Residential Aged Care homes - Austral, Picton and Thirlmere in the Southwest region of Sydney.

This role will be best suited for someone who has prior ACFI or AN - ACC experience within the aged care industry.


You would be reporting to the Facility Manager of each facility, and work closely with the Regional AN-ACC manager and clinical teams at the homes.


About the role:

  • Be able to identify AN-ACC rates in correspondence to resident care needs
  • Ensure assessments, care strategies and ongoing documentation to provide the evidence to support AN-ACC funding and track funding for each AN-ACC resident
  • Provide advice and support to Residential Aged Care staff around funding evidence requirements, work along the teams assisting in the resident assessment process
  • Review processes and documentation, and conduct AN-ACC audits, to identify gaps or trends and then implement staff education in line with the best practice guidelines, organisational policies, and relevant legislation
  • Regularly conduct reviews of the AN-ACC ongoing claims, analyse AN-ACC data, and generate reports
  • Work collaboratively with the teams and internal stakeholders as well as with external assessors visiting for the purpose of AN-ACC assessment
  • Utilising the clinical management software effectively to reference care plans and update AN-ACC for each resident under care

About you:
To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications or certifications relevant to Aged Care
  • Previous experience and knowledge of AN-ACC systems and have worked in a similar role.
  • Experience in care planning, review, and funding evaluation
  • Proven experience in achieving AN-ACC set key performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of the aged care industry compliance and regulations
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the AN-ACC funding process
