Description

FHR, on behalf of our client, are currently recruiting for a proactive and experienced
Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations.

Benefits:

Permanent role
Monday to Friday 8am4pm
ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership to warehouse staff, set priorities, and assign tasks
Ensure that all orders are picked, checked and loaded by staff with a high level of accuracy
Ensure staff understand and comply with company policies and procedures
Effective communication skills to liaise with internal departments as well as external suppliers
Knowledge and advocate of health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment
Problemsolving skills to address any operational challenges that may arise
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure
Collaborate with other departments such as procurement and sales, to ensure timely order fulfillment
The role will include hands on receiving, checking, packing, transport booking and documentation as required

Skills & Experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop strong relationships to Customers and team
Proven leadership experience with ability to motivate and develop team
Forklift license and experience essential
Monitor key performance indicators such as cycle count compliance, DIFOT, order accuracy etc. implementing corrective actions when necessary
Continuously identify areas for process improvement or cost reduction initiatives
Develop efficient workflows by optimizing layout design for maximum space utilization
