Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join a leading fintech organisation located in Sydney CBD.

You will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment, ensuring accurate and timely payments of vendor invoices, and maintaining accurate records.

Your day-to-day:

Entry, coding of vendor invoices and budget validation, matching where applicable to purchase order
Entry of staff expenses (manual and through concur)
Onboarding and training new staff members on invoice approval and expense claims
Intercompany AP invoice entry and payments
Management of Vendor Purchase Orders
Communicate accounts payable information to other departments upon request
Coordinate the accounts payable system, including vendor details, a record of payments and filing systems
Establish and maintain customer master data (making sure all requirements have been met) in SAP following the approval process.
Make weekly payment runs each Thursday to vendors for due invoices
Comanage with Financial Accountant the Cash Situation spreadsheet for cash flow prediction
Reconcile to cost centres and enter phone bill accounts
Assist Finance Department with administrative duties i.e. SAP, filing, archiving, and collating
Participate and contribute to any other ad hoc reporting or projects as and when directed by management

Who you are:

At least 5 years of experience in the provision of paymentsrelated products and services
Experience with SAP will be advantageous
Intermediate to advanced with Excel
Experience in leading crossfunctional teams with demonstrable experience working in a teamorientated, collaborative environment.
Cost centre management skills with a focus on budgeting, forecasting and controlling
Strong customerservice orientation
Excellent written and oral communication skills
