Casual opportunities to join our growing Catering Team at St Andrew's Private Hospital

About the Role
Our Catering Team provides around 600+ covers per day to our patients, doctors and internal functions.

This role will work in front and back of house, having a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:


  • Setting up, plating, and distributing patient meals and beverages
  • Morning & afternoon tea service
  • Assist with general kitchen duties as required
  • Maintaining cleanliness within the department and at ward level
  • Being responsive and sensitive to customer information, their needs and wants

Your Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role as a Catering Assistant
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage a high volumes of catering workflows

Desirable criteria:

  • Prior experience in a hospital setting
  • Qualification in Food Safe and HACCP principles

_Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including morning, afternoon and night shifts, is critical for this role._

Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from
$ $27.30 + penalty rates, based on experience level and qualifications.
