Acclaimed Workforce McLaren Vale have opportunities with our client for forklift drivers with extensive experience in forklift operations, Warehousing experience a bonus.

To secure any on-going or casual opportunities our expectations are reliability and flexibility and availability for shift work is required.

To be considered for the Forklift Driver Positions, you would ideally have the following:

Hold a current High Risk License and current Drivers Licence
Experience operating forklifts in a Food and Beverage/Fragiles environment
Previous truck loading/unloading experience
Shift rotation experience & able to work at short notice for casual oncall rosters
Able and willing to do production work
Previous glass handling experience including slip sheeting, highly desirable

To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and capabilities:

Previous label machine operating experience in a bottling facility, or similar relevant experience, within the wine industry advantageous
Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced production / bottling environment
Must be detail oriented
Understanding of production and warehouse processes
Ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively and coordinate all activities with supervisor
Ability to work in a team, but also own your own
Adherence to occupational health and safety requirements
Be motivated with a good work ethic and a keen interest to learn
Ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to work in shifts (day and afternoon weekends and nightshifts and overtime if necessary)

This position involves some manual work and would best suit applicants who are physically fit and in good health.
