Set for a staged opening in the second half of 2023, Queen's Wharf Brisbane will transform the CBD and river's edge into Queensland's newest entertainment and leisure destination.


Scores of restaurants, cafes and bars, the iconic Sky Deck 100 metres above the river with its 360 degree sweeping views and the open-air Leisure Deck sitting atop the podium and between all four towers will create new destinations for residents and visitors to enjoy.


The $3.6 billion Queen's Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium - a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.


When complete, Queen's Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.

We are looking for an experienced
Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join the team based in Brisbane.


About your new role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Operations, Loading Dock, Quality and Inventory Departments and ensure all items are received in accordance with relevant HACCP requirements.
  • Ensure product specifications are documented for either storage or delivered to the appropriate business unit promptly.
  • Develop and review policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring integrity of the operation and quality service standards are maintained.
  • Ensure WHS, Compliance and relevant legislations across Loading Dock, Internal storerooms and External warehouse facilities.
  • Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely processing of daily administrative requirements of the Loading Dock and Warehouse operations.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of processes and seek to maximise and maintain efficiencies to ensure business objectives and budgets are met
  • Ownership and oversight of the Loading Dock in driving operational efficiencies across both operating and nonoperating hours
  • Assume ownership and stand up the External Warehouse including but not limited to Safety, Systems, Security, Equipment, Personnel, Training, Rostering, Policies and Procedures in ensuring an efficient and effective storage facility
  • Lead and develop team members and ensure all training and development programs and training records are being maintained
  • Setting performance objectives for all Warehouse employees and supervise the service flow and performance of all employees.
  • Undertake Performance Reviews for Direct Reports in line with company expectations

To be successful in this role you will have

  • A high attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications (Diploma of Logistics or Supply Chain Management / Cert. IV in Warehouse Management).
  • Proven Leadership in large team and growing business.
  • Extensive experience in warehousing and/or supply management.
  • Analytical, numeracy, communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and laws, in particular, HACCP, WHS.
  • Lead and managing a diverse team.
  • Driving Excellence and Improvement.
