About the Role


As an executive assistant with Canon Group Oceania you will be supporting the Senior Director Sales & Support Group, and two of his GMs (Marketing & Commercial) as well as supporting the Senior Director's other direct reports as required, playing an important role in the smooth running of their working week.

With no two days the same you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, from diary management and travel arrangements to supporting with event management.

In this pivotal role you will leverage your well-honed stakeholder engagement expertise and finely tuned organisation skills to keep things running without a hitch.


Scope of the role includes:

  • Managing diaries and calendars
  • Managing travel requirements
  • Organising team meetings, business unit town halls, and team events
  • Preparing meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations
  • Managing team documentation and MS Teams sites
  • Acting as a key coordination point for the business units
  • Processing invoices and expense claims
  • Coordinating third party suppliers as required
  • Assisting the direct reports of the Directors as required

About you
You bring a wealth of experience as an executive assistant to the role within a complex corporate environment.

You know how to combine your organisation, problem solving skills and keen eye for detail to deliver a really great experience for our internal and external stakeholders.

You understand the importance of confidentiality and representing our brand with pride.

You thrive in a professional and friendly corporate environment where your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask will see you thrive.

Japanese language skills will be highly regarded, but more important is your proactive and methodical approach and friendly yet professional demeanour.


Key Skills & Experience include:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience in expense management
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
