We are looking for a highly organised individual to join our busy team in the role of Marketing Officer. This is a permanent, part-time opportunity to commence as soon as possible.


duties related to this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • develop a vibrant content pool and prepare copy for publications / promotions including stories of success and achievement, things that are out of the ordinary, features, striking images and engaging film, based around College events and wider calendar/s for use across traditional and digital promotional platforms
- assist the Marketing and Communications Coordinator in the preparation and posting of regular, engaging social media posts across relevant platforms Establish and enhance relationships with current and future Penrhos College metro and boarding families;
- partner with the Graphic Designer in coordinating the annual SAGA publication with the College's student-led SAGA committee
- be responsible for the College website, ensuring all content is up-to-date, relevant and compelling; also taking ownership of Campaign Monitor and Google Analytics as measurement tools for management / stakeholder reporting.
- prepare and distribute internal and external communications to stakeholders using relevant software including Campaign Monitor and Compass.


The successful applicant will have:


  • A Tertiary qualification in a relevant area (e.g. Marketing, PR or Communications)
  • Proven ability and willingness to prioritise and delivery multiple, varied tasks in a sometimespressured environment
  • Outstanding communication / interpersonal skills, strong customer focus and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience in the analysis and interpretation of legislative requirements.
