Position Summary

We're seeking a Registered Nurse for the position of Quality Compliance Support Officer at our Toogoolawah Alkira Aged Care Facility.

A relationship-driven role, you will partner with our Residential Services Manager, building leaders capability whilst ensuring quality, compliance and risk mitigation across the region.

A senior role reporting to the Residential Service Manager, you will work with your peers in Operational Support and Management in implementing and monitoring service quality and safety practices, regularly reporting on performance outcomes and ensuring consistency by leading investigations and driving improvements where necessary.


Other Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage site specific quality noncompliance and work with the Service Manager to develop
  • Provide operational support to Service Manager/s, Care Coordinators and other operational leadership
  • Provide daily clinical oversight with regular review of client/resident Progress Notes and Riskman incident

What you'll bring:


As a senior clinical leader in aged care, your experience has equipped you to drive innovation reflective of contemporary quality and care governance best practices.

A strong verbal and written communicator, you are skilled in establishing effective working relationships centred on building leader's capability through partnership.

Highly-competent in reporting, you have a proven ability to dissect problems and conduct root-cause analysis to determine key drivers, mitigate risk, and implement solutions accordingly.

With an in-depth knowledge of the aim and expectations of the Single Quality Framework and Aged Care Safety Commission, your skills have enabled you to navigate the complexities of current and emerging Aged Care Legislation, driving innovations across multiple services accordingly.


You present with:


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing
  • Current AHPRA or professional body registration is highly desirable
  • Current Australian Driver's License

Selection Criteria

  • Desirable: Do you hold a current Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate to practice in the State where employed? i.e. AHPRA registration
  • Desirable: Do you have broad general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience?
