As a result, they currently have a great opportunity for a dynamic, forward-thinking safety advisor to join their team on a contract basis.


The Role

Reporting into the National HSE Manager, the primary objective of this position is to support the implementation of Work, Health, Safety & Environmental programs and to support the injury management and return to work processes within their two manufacturing sites at Rocklea.

The HSE Advisor is responsible for the implementation of HSE policy, systems and procedures.

The role monitors compliance, ensures recommendations are reviewed and implemented with site management and provides advice and support in accordance with the relevant workplace Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.

Critical to the role is the ability to provide skills, knowledge and education to the leaders of the business to enable them to improve HSE outcomes and culture.

To be successful you will have demonstrated an excellent base level understanding of Health & Safety. You are an engaging safety professional who understands how to get the best out of people. You are innovative, driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and have the ability to improve a team's performance.

You will have an energetic and positive attitude with a thirst for learning and a love for the manufacturing industry.
