About the role:

This is an on-going casual assignment, You will be required to work three consecutive 12 hr day shifts per week, 7.30am to 7.30pm Thursday - Saturday.


Responsibilities & duties:


  • Liaise with and take direction from Technical Manager
  • Production.
  • Efficient operation of extrusion machines, reduction of wastage, demonstrate flexibility and assist in other areas as directed.
  • Record data of specific quality problems to reduce scrap and rework.
  • Actively participate in projects.
  • Comply with and ensure company Safety, Environmental and Quality policies are followed

Skills & qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Extrusion and/or mixing experience preferable.
  • Good understanding of quality, safety and environmental systems.
  • Able to function well as part of a team and liaise with other departments.
  • High Risk Forklift licence.
  • Competent in using hand tools
