The Role:


The key objective of the EQS Workshop Technician role is to support the EQS team to provide high quality sales equipment to both internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth and contribute to the success of KPI's within Equipment & Services department.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To repair equipment and return it to a field ready condition.
  • To ensure that all equipment serviced or repaired, meets the standards detailed in Service Bulletins.
  • To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with CCA equipment
- standards.

  • To communicate the completion of jobs to the Workshop Team Leader on a timely basis and the rescheduling of jobs that require further attention.
  • To report to the Workshop Team Leader any substandard conditions that lower efficiencies, degrade product quality, effect safety or cause equipment failure.
  • To maintain adequate spare parts stocks levels in the refurbishing area.
  • All spare parts required from store location to be requested in a timely manner, with all paperwork to be checked and forwarded to the Workshop Team Leader or Store Person for processing
  • To maintain the work area in a clean and tidy condition to meet 5S standards.
  • To ensure the workplace is monitored for hazards and any hazards are reported and compliance with CCA Health Safety & Wellbeing policies and procedures.
  • Work station is cleaned daily, with workshop cleaned on a weekly basis ready
- for the start of the next working week.


About you:


Essential:


  • Confident communication abilities with all levels of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to problem solve and make quick decisions under time constraints
  • Experience dealing with multiple priorities.
  • Proven relationship management experience in particular working collaboratively and cross functionally, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Agile in ways of working and being able to prioritise multiple initiatives.
  • Selfmotivated, enthusiastic with an ability to be flexible and responsive under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and organisational capabilities.
  • Strong understanding and experience in Equipment and Services department.
  • Proficient in systems knowledge (e.g. SAP, MyApps, OSP, Microsoft suite)
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety

Desirable:


  • Technology certification/qualification in specialist area helpful in some instances
  • Electrical or Refrigeration trade qualifications (essential for some locations and roles)
