Our client is a Not-for-Profit organisation that promotes wellbeing via the provision of quality services and programs for families, seniors, and the wider community.

Operating successfully for over 40 years, their mission is simple - "connecting communities and providing support to people feeling alone and vulnerable or needing extra support." We are seeing an energetic and dedicated leader passionate about supporting the community through services, programs, and advocacy to eliminate barriers, enhance social inclusion, and improve quality of life for all.


Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Corporate Services will have responsibility for all corporate functions and play a critical role in driving the organisations strategic direction.

Whilst the primary focus is on finance, the incumbent is also responsible for the effective and efficient operation of several other functional areas including compliance, risk management, HR and IT as well as attending and advising at team, committee, and Board meetings.


We are seeking a seasoned finance professional with experience managing across a broad corporate portfolio including such areas as risk and compliance, HR and IT.

You will need to demonstrate a genuine commitment to the values of, and benefits delivered by, the not-for-profit sector and desire to give back to society by undertaking impactful, cause based work.

You enjoy being hands-on across the breadth of finance but also like to contribute in other areas of an organisation where you can add value.


Essential criteria:


  • CA/CPA qualified with Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial, operational management or corporate services role.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience in establishing Clinical and/or Organisational Governance frameworks to improve the safety and quality of service provision.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business planning, HR, WHS, risk management and information technology practices.
  • A record of achievement in a leadership role involving strategic planning of Financial Management, HR, ICT and Risk & Compliance.
  • Experience in developing Business Plans, Financial Plans and Risk Management Systems.
  • Proven ability to work within a team, coordinate and develop policies and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills across as level.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to embrace change and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
