A newly created role for a Compliance Manger to join a leading global financial services group in Sydney.
The Compliance Manager has a pivotal role in driving compliance & risk initiatives across the business. The role will involve undertaking compliance tasks, reviewing procedures and reporting to various regulators.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Daily management of compliance duties: regulatory change, maintaining various registers and procedures and ensuring ongoing compliance with external regulation, market practices and industry codes
  • Support the ongoing development of the riskbased monitoring program, conducting periodical monitoring
  • Responsible for the timely provision of information to regulators, including periodic returns and adhoc information requested
  • Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits relating to compliance, including the implementation of recommendations made
  • Liaise with internal legal as required in ensuring all terms and conditions are uptodate, while meeting regulatory requirements, product specifications and business requirements.

Role Requirements:


  • 5 years experience as across Compliance / Risk in Financial Services
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Markets
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements
